The Workshop

DSC_6671_resizeThe workshop of carving ecclesiastical wood furniture “Kyriakos G. Agridiotis and Sons” was created in 1972 in what is now the Turkish occupied town of Trachona. After the displacement of 1974 we wandered through various places until 1990 where we settled in our privately owned workshop in Latsia. The hundreds of temples in which we have carved all kind of creations, both in Cyprus and abroad, are the guarantee of our tradition in woodcarving art and the continued quality in wood carvings.

The Art

Wood carving is one of the most important art factors in ecclesiastical decoration. In order a temple to be worthy of the splendor of Christian Orthodox faith, it has to be decorated by carved art. Our craftsman are always aware that wood carving is a link in the effort to preserve the long ecclesiastical tradition.

What We Offer

Our workshop is now capable of presenting a multitude of ecclesiastical furniture designs based on the ecclesiastical tradition, so we are always ready to hear and implement your ideas and needs.
